I am Imagen Hyland
I don’t just take photographs. I feel my way through them.
At my core, I am a witness.
I am deeply drawn to the quiet, often unseen layers of womanhood and motherhood, the moments that aren’t always spoken, but are deeply felt. The in between. The becoming. The parts of you that are real, tender, and constantly evolving.
My work is shaped by my own journey as a woman, as a mother, and as someone who is continually returning to herself. The more I reconnect with my own softness and strength, the more I am drawn to hold space for other women to be seen in theirs.
There is something incredibly powerful about being witnessed in your truth. Not posed, not perfected, just held, exactly as you are.
And it is an honour I don’t take lightly.

I don’t believe in perfect moments. I believe in honest ones.
The way you hold your child without thinking.
The quiet breath you take when everything slows down.
The softness, the strength, the love that exists in the in between.
This is where your story lives.
When you step in front of my lens, there is nothing you need to perform or become. You are not here to be directed into something you’re not, you are here to be witnessed.
I will gently guide you when needed, but more than anything, I create space. Space for you to feel. Space for you to connect. Space for your natural rhythm to unfold.
Because you are not paying for perfect images.
You are trusting me to see you, and to reflect that back to you in a way that feels real.
